Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a journal cost?

The Black Parachute distributes journals free of charge to Black men through our pop-ups, community activations, events, and partner organizations across Minnesota. If you live outside our service area or can't make it to an upcoming event, the journal is also available for purchase on Amazon.

How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

Can you ship me a free copy?

At this time, we do not mail individual free journals. This helps us maximize our resources and continue putting journals directly into the hands of Black men through in-person community engagement. If you're unable to meet us at an event or live outside Minnesota, you can purchase a copy through Amazon.

What is the goal of The Black Parachute?

Our goal is bigger than the journal. We're working to create more opportunities for Black men to reflect, connect, heal, and prioritize their mental and emotional well-being. The journal is one tool in a broader vision for culturally responsive wellness experiences, community partnerships, and stronger pathways to support.

How can I support The Black Parachute?

You can support our work by donating, attending or sharing our events, connecting us with community partners, or simply spreading the word. Every contribution helps us distribute more journals and create more opportunities for Black men to prioritize their well-being.

Can my org partner with The Black Parachute?

Absolutely. We work with schools, nonprofits, health and wellness organizations, government agencies, businesses, and other community partners on journal distribution, events, guided journaling experiences, sponsorships, and other collaborations.
